Job Description

  • Restructuring & Insolvency NQ Solicitor
  • Salary up to £50,000

A well respected, full-service law firm with a strong reputation in complex advisory work is seeking a newly qualified solicitor to join its growing Restructuring & Insolvency team in Birmingham.Led by a recognised industry figure, the team advises a broad range of clients on both contentious and non-contentious insolvency and restructuring matters, with high-quality work and strong training opportunities for ambitious junior lawyers.The RoleYou will be involved in a varied caseload across:
  • Corporate and personal insolvency
  • Business turnaround and refinancing
  • Directors’ duties and risk advisory
  • Contentious insolvency, including investigations and claims
  • Companies Act and regulatory compliance
  • Working with insolvency practitioners, directors, corporates, investors, lenders, and creditors
You’ll also support marketing and BD efforts, contribute to thought leadership, and help grow the practice’s profile through networking and client engagement.About You
  • Newly Qualified with demonstrable experience gained in restructuring & insolvency during training
  • Excellent drafting, communication, and analytical skills
  • A genuine interest in business restructuring and commercial insight
  • Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to handle a busy caseload
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to firmwide initiatives
