In this position, you will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, helping them navigate legal and regulatory requirements with confidence. You will take ownership of a broad range of legal matters, from complex contract negotiations to risk management and governance, operating with a high degree of autonomy. You’ll play a central role in shaping processes, supporting key decisions and helping the business operate with confidence.
Role:
- Prepare, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including service contracts, frameworks, partnership agreements and confidentiality agreements.
- Identify potential legal risks and provide balanced, practical solutions to manage them.
- Support internal teams with understanding contractual obligations and reducing exposure to disputes.
- Contribute to tenders, bids and proposals to ensure submissions are compliant and competitive.
- Assist in strengthening governance structures and supporting board-level processes where required.
- Develop and refine internal legal policies, procedures and compliance frameworks.
- Work collaboratively with teams including Procurement, Finance, Sales and Operations.
You:
- A background in service led industry such as outsourcing is desirable but not essential.
- UK Qualified Commercial Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE.
- Experience of drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Confident working independently and managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Practical and commercially aware, with the ability to balance legal considerations with business needs.
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain legal matters in a straightforward and accessible way.
- Experience working with and advising senior stakeholders.
