A leading financial services firm is seeking a talented Legal Counsel to join its in-house legal team. Please note: This role is office-based in Central London and requires attendance five days a week.
Role Purpose
You will provide legal support for securitisation and funding transactions, working closely with the Treasury team, other members of Legal, and external counsel. You will ensure that transactions are executed smoothly and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on securitisation transactions, including structuring, documentation, and compliance.
- Oversee transaction timelines.
- Provide legal guidance on risk, compliance, and structuring to internal teams.
- Support corporate governance and board approvals.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 5 years'+ PQE in property-related securitisation, funding, or structured finance.
- Strong knowledge of securitisation structures, mortgage-backed securities, and UK regulatory frameworks.
- Experienced in drafting and negotiating transaction documents.
Please note: This role is office-based in Central London and requires attendance five days a week.
