Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment are working on behalf of a leading US law firm powerhouse in the search for a Competition & Antitrust Associate to join its highly regarded London team. This is an excellent opportunity for a 2-6 PQE lawyer to join a top-tier international practice advising on complex, high-profile competition matters for a premium global client base.

The London Competition & Antitrust team is recognised for its strength across merger control, cartel investigations, foreign investment matters and behavioural advisory work. The practice regularly advises major corporates, financial institutions and private equity sponsors on multi-jurisdictional matters involving the CMA, European Commission and other global regulators.

The successful candidate will work across a broad range of advisory and transactional competition matters, including:

  • UK and cross-border merger control filings
  • Cartel and regulatory investigations
  • Foreign direct investment and national security matters
  • Behavioural and dominance issues
  • Competition support on corporate and private equity transactions
  • Strategic antitrust advisory work for multinational clients

This role offers excellent exposure to sophisticated international work, close partner contact and genuine responsibility from the outset.

  • Strong UK and EU competition law experience
  • Experience handling merger control and regulatory matters
