An Industrial Disease Fee Earner/Paralegal is wanted for an excellent opportunity with an award winning law firm in Blackburn. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

My client is a highly regarded and well established law firm with an enviable reputation in the market. Due to continued growth and expansion they are looking to recruit an Industrial Disease Fee Earner/Paralegal to join their award winning team.

You will manage a caseload of Ministry of Defence Noise Induced Hearing Loss claims and other industrial disease matters from inception to settlement or trial.

Duties will include:

  • Conducting initial client assessments, taking witness statements, and gathering medical evidence.
  • Drafting of letters of claim, schedules of loss, and court documents.
  • Liaising with clients, medical experts, barristers, insurers, and opposing legal teams.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and pre-action protocols for disease and illness claims.
  • Keeping up to date with developments in industrial disease litigation and health and safety law.
