Base pay range

A leading independent finance provider is seeking a talented Legal Counsel to join its in-house legal team.

The Role

In this role, you will take a lead position in managing enforcement and recovery actions on defaulted loans.

Please note: This role requires working from the company’s Central London offices five days a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead enforcement and recovery actions, including drafting key legal documents.
  • Advise on debt recovery, insolvency, and property-related litigation.
  • Manage appointments of receivers and administrators.
  • Collaborate with external counsel and stakeholders.
  • Monitor legal developments and support the wider legal and credit risk teams.

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 2–4 years PQE in recoveries or property litigation.
  • Expertise in distressed finance, recoveries, receiverships, and insolvency litigation.

Please note: This role requires working from the company’s Central London offices five days a week.
