The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
A highly regarded, legal 500 law firm are currently looking for an experienced Housing Solicitor/ Legal Executive to join their London office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completing casework promptly and efficiently.
- Maintaining clear client communication and adherence to ‘client care’ standards.
- Staying updated on legal developments in specialized areas.
- Recording and billing time spent on casework.
- Handling routine correspondence, negotiations, and advocacy.
- Collaborating with colleagues for comprehensive client service.
- Analysing legal matters and advising clients on action.
- Performing administrative tasks for department efficiency.
- Providing supervision when needed and reporting to supervisors.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Extensive expertise in housing law, covering possession, disrepair, and tenancy dispute proceedings.
- Meets LAA supervisor requirements, well-versed in the legal aid scheme and CCMS.
- Effective communicator with the firm’s client group, actively involved in business development.
- Demonstrates a successful history of client contact management.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, adept at problem-solving and working efficiently under pressure.
- Holds a current Practising Certificate (or CiLEX equivalent) with over 3 years’ PQE.
