Commercial Property Paralegal in Harrogate

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Paralegal to join a leading law firm in Harrogate.

Working closely with an experienced Partner, you will play an important role in providing high-quality legal support to a varied client base, including commercial landlords, landowners, banks and investors.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Legal Assistant or Paralegal who is looking to develop their career within commercial property and gain exposure to a broad range of interesting and varied work.

You will provide comprehensive legal and administrative support across a busy commercial property caseload, working alongside the Partner and wider team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Partner with a varied portfolio of commercial property matters.
• Assisting with transactions involving commercial landlords, landowners, banks and investors.
• Preparing and reviewing legal documentation and correspondence.
• Undertaking legal research and property-related due diligence.
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, agents and other professional advisers.
• Assisting with the progression of matters from initial instruction through to completion.
• Managing files and ensuring matters progress efficiently and in accordance with firm procedures.
• Developing your knowledge and expertise within commercial property.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:

• At least 12 months' experience working as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal.
• Experience within either a commercial property or residential conveyancing team.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to your work.
• A genuine interest in developing a career within commercial property.

Experience in commercial property would be advantageous, but candidates with a solid residential conveyancing background who are keen to make the move into commercial property are also encouraged to apply.

• Salary of circa £27,000, depending on experience.
