Employment Solicitor

I am currently recruiting for a Solicitor or FCILEx to join the Employment team on behalf of a highly regarded National Legal 500 Law Firm, based in their Bristol office. The position offers a competitive salary, along with a host of additional benefits, including remote working with visits to the office in either Bristol, a bonus scheme, flexible working hours, and annual salary reviews.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a caseload of legal expense insurer files, with opportunities to engage in non-contentious tasks as needed. There may also be potential for overseeing junior case handlers. This role is perfect for a solicitor with extensive experience in employment law who seeks a challenging yet fulfilling position within a collaborative and supportive environment.   Key Responsibilities: Advising clients on potential Employment Tribunal claims. Managing a caseload of Employment Tribunal claims, including drafting pleadings, witness statements, negotiating settlements, and instructing counsel or advocates as necessary. Ensuring compliance with insurer service level agreements. Supporting the team with non-contentious work, including the preparation of contractual documentation, handbooks, and reactive and proactive employment advice to commercial clients.
