Douglas Scott are working with an international law firm in their search for an Employment Associate (2-6 PQE) to join their highly regarded Employment team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a globally recognised practice advising a diverse client base on high-profile, complex and often cross-border employment matters. The successful candidate will work alongside leading employment lawyers within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
The Employment team is one of the largest and most internationally connected practices in the market, advising clients ranging from innovative start-ups to multinational businesses across sectors including Financial Services, Retail, FMCG, Media and Manufacturing. The London team works closely with colleagues across the firm’s international network on multi-jurisdictional matters, offering excellent quality work and strong client exposure from day one.
This is a broad employment role combining advisory and contentious work. You will advise on matters including:
- Cross-border employment projects
- Disciplinary and grievance issues
- Restructures and redundancies
- TUPE and changes to terms and conditions
- Employment Tribunal litigation
- Employment support on corporate transactions

The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified solicitor with 2-6 years’ PQE
- Strong employment law experience gained at a reputable law firm

- Excellent organisational and matter management skills
- Collaborative and proactive approach
