I am representing a leading Competition & Antitrust team in London seeking a September 2026 Newly Qualified Associate. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, market-leading team advising clients on a broad range of UK, EU and cross-border competition matters, including merger control, regulatory investigations, compliance and transactional antitrust work.

The Team: You will work closely with corporate and private equity colleagues, supporting high-value, complex matters across multiple sectors. The team advises on:

  • UK and EU merger control filings
  • Regulatory investigations and enforcement matters
  • Competition compliance and risk management
  • Transactional antitrust advice and deal structuring

This is a fast-paced, commercially driven environment, offering early responsibility and client exposure from the start.

The Role: As an NQ Associate, you will:

  • Support on merger control filings and multi-jurisdictional notifications
  • Assist on investigations and regulatory matters
  • Draft client advice, internal analyses and submissions
  • Work closely with partners and international teams on complex cross-border matters

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualifying September 2026
  • Strong academic background
  • Completed a competition seat with exposure to merger control or advisory work
  • Experience with CMA or EU filings advantageous but not essential
  • Commercial, organised and able to manage transaction and regulatory deadlines
