A highly regarded, multi-service law firm in the heart of York City Centre is seeking an experienced and commercially astute solicitor to join their dynamic Property team. This well-established firm is recognised for its client-focused approach and strong presence in the Yorkshire legal market. The Role
You will manage a varied caseload of commercial property matters, including:
- Freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
- Landlord and tenant matters
- Commercial leases, licences, and renewals
- Development work and investment transactions
- Property finance and secured lending
You will work closely with a diverse range of clients, including developers, investors, landlords, tenants, and SMEs, providing tailored and pragmatic legal advice.
To be considered for this role, you will:
- Be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales with at least 5 years’ PQE in commercial property
- Have a strong technical grounding and a commercial outlook
- Be confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
- Possess excellent client care and communication skills
- Be a team player who thrives in a collaborative working environment
