We are working with our client, an international full-service law firm with a strong UK presence, to appoint a Commercial Associate (Associate or Senior Associate level) to join its Commercial Contracts team. The firm is recognised globally for delivering high-quality, complex commercial advice to a broad range of private and public sector clients. The role offers exposure to top-tier national and international work, supporting some of the firm’s most significant and high-profile clients.
You will join a national Contracts team advising on a diverse range of commercial matters, including:
- High-value, long-term strategic commercial agreements
- Complex outsourcing and supply chain arrangements
- Day-to-day commercial contracting and standard form agreements
- Cross-practice support on corporate and real estate transactions
- International work in collaboration with global offices
The team has particular sector strength across transport, utilities, industrial engineering, aerospace and automotive, acting for a range of leading blue-chip and multinational clients.
The successful candidate will be a 2–6 PQE Commercial or Contract lawyer with:
- Strong experience in commercial contracts and drafting
- A sound understanding of key legal, commercial and operational risks
- The ability to manage a varied and fast-paced workload
- Strong client-facing and communication skills across sectors
- A proactive approach to client service and business development
- Experience supervising junior lawyers and contributing to BD initiatives
