I’m working closely with a highly regarded specialist law firm looking to add an Associate to its growing Technology & Digital Regulation practice. This is a particularly interesting opportunity for a lawyer who wants to build a genuinely broad practice across data, privacy, technology and emerging digital regulation, rather than being confined to one narrow area.
The team advises clients across the technology, media, advertising and creative industries, with work spanning:
- GDPR, privacy and international data issues
- AI and emerging technology regulation
- Online Safety Act & Digital Services Act matters
- Cyber risk and information security
- Adtech, ePrivacy and consumer regulation
- SaaS, software licensing and technology agreements
- New product launches and digital regulatory compliance
The sweet spot is 2–4 PQE, although there is some flexibility either side for the right person. It’s a highly collaborative and entrepreneurial environment, with considerably more sustainable hours than many larger City practices and genuine scope for lawyers to develop their own profile and progress. They’re looking for someone technically strong, commercially minded and genuinely interested in where technology, data and regulation are heading next.
If you’re currently practising in Data, Privacy, Technology, Digital Regulation or Commercial/TMT and would be interested in hearing more, feel free to message me confidentially.
