An established regional law firm is seeking an experienced Family Paralegal to join their busy public law team. This role offers the chance to work on high-quality cases in a supportive environment with opportunities for career progression. The role may involve travel to courts, client meetings, and other offices, so access to a car is desirable. Initial training will take place at the firm's Bolton office.
Responsibilities
- Arrange appointments and meetings
- Telephone and email contact with clients and external agencies
- Diary management and scheduling
- Database and file management
- Prepare bundles and documentation for hearings
- Liaise with clients and provide updates on case progress
- Use of CCMS (desirable)
- Support the wider team and contribute to continuous improvement
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within a Family Law department is essential
- Excellent communication and telephone skills
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
