We are working with a highly regarded UK law firm that is seeking to add a Real Estate Development Solicitor to its market-leading Real Estate team. Our client is recognised by Legal 500 and Chambers, holding a Tier 1 ranking for its work in social housing, and acts for a broad client base including Registered Providers, private developers, care home operators, build-to-rent providers and investment funds.

Real estate development sits at the heart of the firm, and this role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-quality projects ranging from site acquisitions through to major multi-phase developments.

The Role:

  • Title due diligence and reporting
  • Section 106 agreements and planning consents
  • Conditional contracts, option and overage agreements
  • Development agreements, including work with PLC housebuilders
  • Infrastructure and statutory agreements
  • Golden brick completions and post-completion matters
  • Support on large-scale transactions such as regeneration and portfolio acquisitions

You will work closely with experienced partners, build strong client relationships and play an active role in delivering exceptional client service.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 2–4 years’ PQE as a Real Estate solicitor
  • Experience in real estate development and/or site acquisition work
  • Excellent attention to detail with a consistently high standard of work
  • Proactive and commercially minded approach
  • Experience with Registered Providers or affordable housing is advantageous but not essential
