Our client is seeking a Legal Director to join its highly regarded Employment team, advising major UK employers on complex and strategic employment law matters. This is a senior role offering hybrid working and flexibility on location.

The team advises on the full range of employment issues, with a particular focus on high-end project work, including large-scale changes to terms and conditions, restructurings, and collective employment matters such as union engagement, recognition and TUPE. The role also involves managing complex Employment Tribunal claims where required.

You will act as a trusted adviser to key clients, lead on significant matters, supervise and mentor junior lawyers, and contribute to business development and client training initiatives. The role offers real scope to help shape and grow a successful national employment practice.

About You

  • 8+ years’ PQE (or equivalent) in employment law
  • Strong technical and drafting skills
  • Experience advising large employers on complex employment projects
  • Proven ability to manage clients and supervise junior team members
  • Commercial, pragmatic and collaborative approach
