An established law firm is seeking to appoint an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join its busy office in Central London. Applications are welcomed from qualified solicitors with ideally 3+ years' PQE and high amounts of experience in New Build transactions.
This opportunity would suit an individual with strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach. The successful candidate will be confident managing their own caseload, building relationships with clients and professional contacts, and working effectively within a fast-paced commercial environment.
The role will involve handling a varied caseload of residential property matters, including New Build freehold and leasehold sales, purchases and re-mortgages. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clients and agents with regular updates, practical advice and documentation throughout the transaction process, ensuring a high standard of client care at all times.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a busy caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion.
- High amounts of New Build experience.
- Handling freehold and leasehold sales, purchases and remortgages.
- Maintaining regular communication with clients, agents and third parties.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across other practice areas and referring work internally where appropriate.
- Meeting client expectations through proactive case management and timely responses to enquiries.
- Supporting business development and marketing initiatives.
- Contributing to the continued growth and success of the department.
- Providing support to colleagues and working as part of a collaborative team environment.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Ideally 3-4+ years' PQE in Residential Conveyancing.
- Proven experience managing a residential property caseload independently.
- Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness.
- Good IT skills and experience using case management systems.
- A proactive and client-focused approach to delivering high levels of service.
