Public Law Solicitor – Manchester
Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment is currently working with a highly regarded national law firm that is looking to recruit a Public Law Solicitor to join its growing Manchester team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to join a well-established department handling a broad range of publicly funded and complex public law matters.
The Role
- Manage a varied Public Law caseload from inception to conclusion
- Advise clients on complex public law matters
- Draft applications, representations and court documents
- Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies
- Attend hearings and undertake advocacy where appropriate
- Work closely with senior lawyers and team management
- Deliver exceptional client care and support vulnerable clients
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and funding requirements
The Candidate
- Qualified Solicitor with Public Law experience
- Experience managing a caseload independently
- Strong advocacy and client care skills
- Excellent drafting and communication abilities
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Experience working with publicly funded matters advantageous
- Passionate about helping vulnerable clients and achieving positive outcomes
