Are you an Employment Solicitor looking to take the next step with a highly regarded national practice? We are working with a leading law firm that is looking to appoint an ambitious Employment Associate to join its growing Manchester team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside highly respected employment specialists, advising a broad range of clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. The team is known for delivering pragmatic, commercial advice to employers ranging from SMEs and owner-managed businesses through to large national and international organisations.
The Opportunity
- Employment Tribunal litigation and day-to-day contentious matters
- Complex disciplinary, grievance and workplace investigation issues
- Redundancy and restructuring projects
- TUPE advice and support on corporate transactions
- Drafting and negotiating employment contracts, policies and settlement agreements
- Advising on senior exits, restrictive covenants and employment status matters
- Providing strategic employment law support to a diverse employer client base across a range of sectors
You’ll have the opportunity to build strong client relationships, take ownership of your own matters and work closely with senior lawyers on more complex and high-profile instructions.

About You
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
- Between 2 and 5 years' PQE in employment law
- Experience handling a mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Strong technical skills and commercial awareness
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
- Ambitious and keen to develop your career within a leading firm
