Court of Protection / Private Client Solicitor
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solicitor to join a growing and highly regarded Court of Protection and Private Client team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a varied and rewarding caseload whilst being part of a supportive and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional client service and contributing to the continued development of the department.
The Role
- Managing a caseload of Court of Protection and Private Client matters
- Advising on Property and Financial Affairs Deputyships
- Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Drafting Wills and advising on estate planning matters
- Handling Probate and Estate Administration matters
- Supporting vulnerable clients and their families
- Liaising with the Court of Protection, financial institutions and other professional parties
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
The Candidate
- Be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced Fee Earner
- Have experience in Court of Protection and/or Private Client work
- Demonstrate excellent client care and communication skills
- Be capable of managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision
- Possess strong organisational and time management skills
- Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team
- Be looking to develop their career within a progressive and supportive firm
