Overview

Dougie Mac Hospice, in partnership with Dementia UK, is looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN, RNMH, RNLD) to join our Dementia Services Team as an Admiral Nurse. This specialist role provides expert, relationship-centred support to people living with dementia and their families, particularly where needs are complex.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload and work closely with the multidisciplinary team.
• Deliver expert assessment, evidence-based interventions, and emotional and practical support to carers.
• Lead on dementia-related education and training, and contribute to development, evaluation, and quality improvement of the dementia service.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in dementia care.
• Strong advocacy skills and formal post-graduate training related to dementia.
