Dougie Mac is seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our innovative Community Team. This is a unique opportunity to provide high-quality palliative and end-of-life care across Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver holistic, person-centred care for patients with life-limiting illnesses (e.g. cancer, MND, heart failure, lung disease).
- Work as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team, coordinating care and supporting patients and their families at home.
- Contribute to service development, audits, and education of colleagues.
- Use your leadership and communication skills to act as a patient advocate and role model in palliative care.
- Benefit from ongoing professional development, supervision, and funded opportunities to enhance your skills and academic portfolio.
About You
- A Registered Nurse with at least 3 years’ post-registration experience - this is essential.
- Experienced in palliative or end-of-life care.
- Skilled in communication, leadership, and teamwork.
- Motivated, flexible, and committed to delivering the highest standards of care.
- A car owner/driver (essential for community visits).
- A development Clinical Nurse Specialist role would be considered for the right candidate.

Salary: £34,000 - £40,000 FTE per annum (Depending on knowledge, skills & experience)
Hours: 30 hours a week (shifts include working early, lates & weekends)
