We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated carer to provide exceptional care and support to a 94 year old head of our family. In this vital role, you will deliver holistic, patientâcentred care, ensuring comfort, dignity, and emotional support. Your expertise will help ease physical symptoms and facilitate meaningful experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs and prioritise comfort and dignity.
- Administer medications and treatments to reduce discomfort.
- Monitor vital signs.
- Assistance with personal hygiene.
- Light cleaning and laundry.
- Cooking and feeding required.
Requirements
- Previous experience from UK or other countries.
- Extensive experience in hospice and palliative care.
- Experience working with end of life symptoms is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the capacity to provide compassionate support.
Schedule
We are seeking respite support for our team. We are offering 1â2 days per week. We have shifts: Evening shifts, Night shifts, or Full 24âhour with 8 hours sleep. Compensation based on experience and desired shift. References preferred. Must live close to our postcode CT88QG. If you live too far away, the partâtime may not make sense due to transportation costs.
