We are seeking a motivated and versatile Assistant Estate Manager to support the effective management of a diverse rural estate based in Douglas, Lanarkshire.

The Douglas Estate covers 33,000 acres and comprises a diverse portfolio of agricultural, forestry, sporting, residential, commercial and tourist/leisure properties.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will assist in the day-to-day management of the estate, combining administrative duties with on-the-ground support. This varied role requires a proactive individual who is equally comfortable working at a desk and outdoors in a rural environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with estate administration, record keeping, and correspondence
- Support property management, including lettings and maintenance coordination
- Conduct site visits and inspections across the estate
- Assist with in-hand farming and land management tasks as required
- Liaise with tenants, contractors, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and estate policies.
