Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries and custom cakes, following established recipes and techniques.
- Monitor baking processes, including temperature and cooking times, to ensure that baked goods are cooked to perfection and meet our quality standards.
- Creatively decorate and finish baked goods and custom cakes, adding artistic touches and attention to detail to enhance their visual appeal.
- Coordinate with other bakery staff to ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods, communicating any special requests or requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the bakery kitchen, including equipment, workstations, and storage areas, following food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist with inventory management, including monitoring ingredient levels, ordering supplies, and rotating stock to ensure freshness.
- Stay updated on current baking trends, techniques, and ingredients, and incorporate new ideas and innovations into our bakery's offerings.
- Collaborate with bakery management to develop new recipes and menu items, contributing your creativity and expertise to the bakery's continued success.
- Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers to answer questions, make recommendations, and ensure their satisfaction with our Goodies.
