Doughlicious — The London Dough Co. is on a mission to make seriously delicious, better-for-you cookie dough that people genuinely obsess over. Born in London and now scaling fast across the UK and US (Hello Fresh, Target and Whole Foods), we’re one of the most exciting challenger brands in food, and we’re only just getting started.
The Role
We’re looking for someone who loves social media — setting the strategy AND getting stuck into content creation. This role is for someone creative, ambitious and organised: bursting with ideas, fluent in internet culture, and with a true understanding of what makes content perform. You’ll own Doughlicious’s social presence across our global channels, bringing structure and momentum to how we show up online — planning ahead with content calendars, creating content yourself when needed, and running our content engine of UGC creators (including our US-based creator) and agency creative partners. This is a founder-led environment: fast-moving, high-output and direct. If you can bring high energy, positivity and drive to make an impact, this is the perfect role for you!
What You’ll Do
- Social Strategy & Execution — own the organic social strategy and growth across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn for UK and US audiences, with an always-on approach focused on daily reach, relevance and engagement.
- Content Calendars & Workflows — plan ahead! Build and manage the social content calendar, posting schedules, approvals and publishing cadence — and create the repeatable workflows that turn ideas, trends and raw footage into scalable output.
- Content Creation — get hands‑on — film, clip, edit and repurpose content when needed at speed across formats, designed for social performance (not traditional brand campaigns). Use AI tools and automations to boost output and efficiency.
- UGC & Creator Management — brief and manage our UGC creators, including our US‑based creator producing content for the American market, owning their work streams from brief through to delivery and publishing, with clear briefs and fast feedback loops.
- Agency & Influencer Partnerships — work with our agency partners to brief and produce brand assets, and manage monthly influencer gifting to drive consistent, high‑quality brand exposure.
- Community — own day‑to‑day community engagement (comments, DMs, reviews) across channels for UK and US audiences, nurture super fans into ambassadors and act as the voice of the customer internally.
- Performance & Insights — review analytics daily and optimise based on watch time, retention, CTR, shares and engagement. Boost high‑performing content with an agreed monthly budget, and share insights with the senior brand team to inform direction.
- Trends & Culture — spot trending audio, formats and cultural moments early — and react fast with relevant content opportunities while keeping brand quality high at speed and volume.
What We Need From You
Please note that we welcome applications from candidates who may not hit every single bullet point below — if you’re passionate about what we’re building, roll up your sleeves without being asked, and feel you have relevant skills and experience to add value, please apply!
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or Content Creator (agency or in‑house).
- A background in content creation that means you can confidently film and edit — you make great content yourself, not just commission it.
- Experience briefing and managing UGC creators, influencers or freelancers, with strong project management instincts across multiple work streams.
- Comfortable working with external agencies to brief, review and deliver assets.
- A sound understanding of internet culture, trends, creator ecosystems and platforms.
- Strong copywriting skills with a natural feel for tone, humour and internet language.
- Confident with social media management, scheduling and analytics tools.
- Highly organised, detail‑oriented and comfortable working at pace — you aren’t afraid to test bold ideas!
- FMCG or startup experience is a plus.
What We Offer
- A senior brand team genuinely invested in your growth and development.
- Real ownership and the autonomy to build something meaningful.
- The chance to be part of a fast‑scaling, internationally ambitious better‑for‑you brand.
- A diverse, purpose‑driven team (70% women) working out of our West London HQ.
