We're looking for a talented Solidworks Technician to work for our client. They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience in creating manufacturing and fabrication drawings. If that's you then you could be exactly what they're looking for.

The Role:

Reporting to the Technical Manager and based in the company's Chester office, as the Solidworks Technician you will be primarily responsible for creating fabrication and GA drawings whilst working with the manufacturing and site teams to offer technical assistance and ensuring a smooth process is ran from conception to installation. In the job you'll be tasked with the following:

  • Design both at manufacturing and fabrication
  • Technical coordination and assistance for various workshop and site teams
  • Reporting progress to Technical Manager and directors

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this Solidworks Technician role will have relevant experience in creating manufacturing and fabrication drawings. You'll also need experience in Solidworks, CAM, CNC. Plus, it's vital that you've got experience of glazed partitions, entry door systems, facades, structural glazing. In addition, it's essential that you possess excellent technical skills and the ability to hit the ground running with Solidworks.
