Doufre Construction has been appointed by our client, a leading Architectural Aluminium and Glazing contractor, to source an Estimator to join their very experienced team. Our client is known nationally and has worked on some very exciting projects over the years which will open excellent exposure to the successful Estimator chosen for this role. Tender values range up to multi-million pounds and include residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Estimator Responsibilities:
- Managing 3 tenders at any one time
- Performing take-offs from specifications and architectural drawings
- Liaise with bid and design teams
- Negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers
- Build relationships with main contractors and clients
Estimator Key Skills:
- Architectural and structural background in glass and metalwork
- Key knowledge of materials and understanding of metal and glass grades
- Ability to manage multiple tenders at one time
- Confident personality and good presentation skills
