We are working with a leading specialist in the interior fit-out and partitioning sector, looking to appoint an Assistant Account Manager to join their growing sales team. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a technical/design background who wants to move into a more client-facing, commercially driven role.
The Role
You’ll initially spend time within the design team (3-6 months) gaining product and system knowledge before transitioning into a sales-focused position. From there, you’ll use your technical understanding to build relationships, influence specifications, and secure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage relationships with architects, designers & contractors
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of projects and opportunities
- Support and influence specifications and tender submissions
- Present solutions, attend client meetings, and deliver CPDs
- Work closely with estimating and design teams to convert opportunities into orders
- Provide technical support including drawings (CAD/Revit) and pre-tender input
- Attend site visits, design meetings, and support project delivery
