We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join our client's team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in estimating interior fit-out packages, including joinery, glazed partitions, drylining, and structural glazing. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to play a pivotal role in our company's ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for interior fit-out projects, focusing on joinery, partitions, drylining, and structural glazing.
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documents to identify scope, requirements, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Source and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors, obtaining competitive quotations.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure all estimates are aligned with project requirements and budgets.
- Present cost estimates and pricing strategies to senior management, ensuring they reflect the current market conditions and company objectives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, materials, and construction methods related to interior fit-out packages.
- Track project costs, monitor progress against estimates, and prepare reports for management review.
- In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards specific to interior fit-out projects.
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, or similar) and strong MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
