We are currently looking for a detail-driven Estimator to join our client's highly experienced team and help deliver high-quality industrial and commercial roofing and cladding projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely quotations and tenders for roofing and cladding works
- Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and site information to calculate material, labour, and plant requirements
- Liaise with suppliers to secure competitive prices and ensure timely procurement
- Identify and raise technical queries or discrepancies with project information
- Ensure all tenders comply with current Health & Safety legislation and industry standards
- Review specifications to ensure full compatibility with the project scope
- Provide clear pricing handovers and support to Contracts and Project Management teams
- Attend site visits for surveys, measurements, or technical clarification
Requirements:
- Previous estimating experience in roofing and cladding (industrial/commercial)
- Strong knowledge of systems such as standing seam, composite panels, built-up systems, and rainscreen cladding
- Ability to read and take off from technical drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with Health & Safety (including CDM Regulations)
- Experience using estimating software packages
- Strong communication and numeracy skills
