Design Manager in Crawley, West Sussex

Role Overview:

As a Design Manager you\’ll play a crucial role in translating client and architect requirements into detailed designs. Your responsibilities will include attending design workshops, producing accurate stage 3 information, creating drawings for tenders, and supporting the Estimating team with your technical expertise. Additionally, you\’ll collaborate closely with the Product Development team to innovate new solutions and manage mock-ups and samples throughout the business.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D for drafting and design tasks.
• Knowledge of Revit advantageous
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite for documentation and communication.
• Previous experience in the commercial fit out industry.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate design concepts.
• Experience in creating NBS Specifications.
• Technical coordination and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• Familiarity with glazing, joinery or interior fit out sub contract packages.
