And thereβs more than enough variety to keep you sharp. You will cover everything from fit-out delivery models (Cat A, Cat B, turnkey) to framework agreements, feeding contractor insights back into the business and helping shape regional strategies.
Along the way, you will build a powerful network of main contractor contacts and gain deep exposure to how top-tier supply chains operate - experience that will open doors wherever your career takes you next.
What you will do:
- Identify, engage, and build strategic relationships with main contractors across the UK in various sectors in the construction industry.
- Position the business as a trusted, high-performing supply chain partner through proactive engagement, capability presentations, and joint planning.
- Lead negotiations to secure preferred supplier status and inclusion on main contractor supply chains and frameworks.
- Collaborate with business development and pre-construction teams to support early involvement in prospects and enquiries.
- Continue and develop the relationships with main contractors including gathering any feedback regarding pricing of enquiries and performance in live projects and feed this back to relevant Divisional Managing Director.
What you will need:
- Experience in supply chain or procurement leadership within the various sectors in the Construction Industry.
- Demonstrated success in developing main contractor relationships and securing preferred supplier status.
- Strong understanding of fit-out delivery models (Cat A, Cat B, turnkey) and subcontractor markets.
- Established network of main contractor contacts.
- Strong commercial negotiation skills and understanding of contract management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
