We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer of glazing and partition systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded estimator to join a specialist product business at an exciting stage of its growth.
The Role
You will be responsible for estimating on commercial office fit-out projects, pricing glazing & partition systems for supply to main contractors. This is a product-only role - no labour - but the commercial complexity is real. You will be reading architectural drawings, identifying commercial risk, and building pricing for projects that can reach £2m in product value.
What You Will Be Doing
- Preparing detailed estimates and tender submissions for commercial fit-out projects
- Reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications
- Liaising with main contractors and general contractors
- Identifying commercial risk within tender packages
- Working with Causeway estimating software and internal take-off tools
- Converting between imperial and metric measurements as required
What We Are Looking For
- A background in estimating for commercial fit-out (glazing, partitions or similar - drywall/drylining considered)
- Comfortable pricing high-value, large-scale projects
- Familiarity with estimating software packages
- Able to work independently and hit the ground running
- A QS background with a desire to move into estimating will also be considered
What’s on Offer
