We are seeking an Estimator for a leading provider of interior fit-out solutions specializing in interior fit out. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase by accurately assessing project costs and providing comprehensive estimates. You will collaborate closely with our sales, design, and project management teams to develop competitive proposals that meet client requirements while ensuring profitability for the company.
- Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other documents to understand scope and requirements.
- Quantify materials, labour, and equipment needed for each project based on established pricing guidelines and industry standards.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, including material take-offs, labour costs, subcontractor bids, and overhead expenses.
- Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to obtain competitive pricing and accurate project data.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective solutions and timely delivery of materials and services.
- Evaluate project risks and opportunities to provide recommendations for cost-saving measures and value engineering options.
- Monitor project budgets and assist in cost tracking and forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.
Proven experience as an Estimator in the interior fit-out or construction industry. Advanced knowledge of estimating software and Microsoft Office suite.
