We are working with a leading specialist in the interior fit-out and partitioning sector, looking to appoint an Assistant Account Manager to join their growing sales team. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a technical/design background who wants to move into a more client-facing, commercially driven role.

The Role

You will initially spend time within the design team (36 months) gaining product and system knowledge before transitioning into a sales-focused position. From there, you will use your technical understanding to build relationships, influence specifications, and secure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with architects, designers & contractors
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of projects and opportunities
  • Support and influence specifications and tender submissions
  • Present solutions, attend client meetings, and deliver CPDs
  • Work closely with estimating and design teams to convert opportunities into orders
  • Provide technical support including drawings (CAD/Revit) and pre-tender input
  • Attend site visits, design meetings, and support project delivery
