London | Hybrid Working | £55,000 – £60,000

An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Cladding Designer to join a specialist contractor delivering façade and external envelope projects across the UK. We're looking for someone with a strong technical background in facade design who is comfortable taking ownership of projects, solving design challenges and working closely with both site and commercial teams.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Developing detailed cladding drawings from design through to installation
  • Producing elevations, plans, panel layouts and sub-grid details
  • Designing and detailing fire barrier solutions
  • Carrying out site surveys and gathering information for design development
  • Preparing material quantities and technical information
  • Coordinating with architects, engineers, suppliers and project teams
  • Attending design and progress meetings
  • Managing technical submissions, drawing revisions and RFIs

About You

  • Strong AutoCAD 2D skills
  • Good technical knowledge of cladding/facade systems and external wall build-ups
  • Knowledge of panels, fixings, insulation, membranes and fire barriers
  • Experience with fabrication and setting-out drawings
  • The ability to manage several design packages independently
  • Strong attention to detail and a practical, solutions-focused approach
  • Experience with Revit, SketchUp, Bluebeam or 3D AutoCAD would be a bonus.

What's On Offer

£55,000 – £60,000 DOE Alongside the basic salary, you'll receive hybrid working, annual salary reviews, increasing holiday entitlement, company laptop and mobile, reimbursed site travel expenses and ongoing career development.

The position will involve a mixture of home working, London office attendance and site visits, so candidates should be based within a reasonable travelling distance of London. Immediate / early start available.
