Location: Fulham or South Kensington

Hours: 8:30am–5:15pm
Mandatory preparation meeting: Saturday 3 October, 9am–12pm
Pay: £80 per day
Status: Freelance (payment upon invoice)
About the role :
- Help supervise and support a group of children throughout the day, working alongside the Activity Leader responsible for the group.
- Place children's safety and welfare (safeguarding) at the heart of everything you do, following Douce France's safeguarding and Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Assist the Activity Leader with the preparation and delivery of activities, and support our external activity providers when required.
- Help create a safe, inclusive and positive environment where children aged 3 to 11 feel valued, supported and encouraged, adapting your approach to their age, needs and individual abilities.
- Work collaboratively with the team and contribute proactively to the smooth running and quality of the camp.
- Bring an enthusiastic, energetic and positive attitude, demonstrating initiative, flexibility, reliability and professionalism while being comfortable working in a busy and demanding environment.
About you :
- Fluent in English and French.
- At least some previous professional experience working with groups of children, ideally in holiday camps, activity clubs or other group settings.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow the camp's procedures and guidelines.
- Comfortable working in a busy, demanding environment with high standards.
- Positive, energetic and enthusiastic, with the ability to motivate children and contribute to a great team atmosphere.
- Reliable, punctual and professional.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one – we can assist with the process if required).
