We are looking for a friendly and reliable Painter & Decorator to join our team.
The Role
As an experienced all-rounder, with an emphasis on Painter & Decorator responsibilities, you will be comfortable working alongside our guests, management team, contractors, suppliers, and all team members. Responsible for maintaining the décor of our guest bedrooms, public areas, and food and beverage outlets. You will be conscious to ensure the Health & Safety of colleagues and guests alike.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Perform painting and decorating duties in all areas throughout the hotel, as directed by the Chief Engineer or the senior person on duty.
- Undertake both responsive and planned decorating duties.
- Carry out all necessary preparation and repair, ensuring that each task is completed to a high standard and that a durable and quality decorative finish is achieved.
- Ensure that the area where you work has been completed and is left in an acceptable condition. Also, that any displaced items are returned or replaced.
- Complete all painting and decorating duties to a high standard, maintaining strict compliance to all Health & Safety and any other relevant legislation relating to safety in the workplace for self and others.
As well as having previous experience in a similar role, you will have an absolute commitment to delivering exceptional service, a charismatic personality, and a natural flair for creating memorable experiences with all our guests. You will have a can-do attitude and be able to respond flexibly to different guest requests and situations. Finally, you will have a good command of the English language and be very well presented.
