What your day will look like?

As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will support the Chef de Partie and wider kitchen team with the day-to-day preparation and smooth running of your section. You will prepare ingredients, assist with mise en place, follow recipes and presentation standards, and ensure all dishes are prepared to a consistently high standard. You will work closely with the team during service to ensure food is prepared and delivered efficiently and on time.

You will be responsible for keeping your section clean, organised and fully prepared throughout the day, ensuring all equipment and work areas meet food hygiene and safety standards. You will assist with receiving and storing deliveries, checking the quality and freshness of ingredients, rotating stock and helping to minimise food waste. You will also follow all health & safety, food safety and hotel procedures at all times.

What You’ll Bring?

You’ll bring a genuine passion for food, a positive can‑do attitude and a commitment to maintaining high culinary standards. You’ll have good attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment.

Previous experience in a professional kitchen is desirable, along with a good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards. Most importantly, you’ll be reliable, eager to learn and take pride in consistently delivering high-quality food and an exceptional guest experience.
