You’ll be based in Stoke on Trent, with occasional (at least monthly) travel to our other fantastic hotels — think of it as work with a change of scenery!
About the Role
We’re on the lookout for a highly organised, detail-loving, number-crunching superstar to join us as our Assistant Cluster Financial Controller.
You’ll play a key role in keeping our cluster running smoothly behind the scenes — supporting financial operations, strengthening processes, and helping us deliver exceptional performance across all three hotels.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting cluster financial operations and day-to-day processes
- Helping the Cluster Financial Controller drive business performance and success
- Keeping records, reports, and documentation accurate and up to date
- Working closely with colleagues, suppliers, and external partners
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations
- Supporting month-end processes, journals, and lead schedules
- Being a key player in improving processes across the cluster
- Delivering brilliant support to internal and external stakeholders
About You
You’re not just good with numbers — you love them.
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Strong accounting experience (hospitality/hotel background is a big plus)
- Month-end experience, including journals and lead schedules
- AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and procedures
- Strong organisational skills and razor-sharp attention to detail
- Great communication skills — you can talk finance without the jargon overload
- The ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines without breaking a sweat
- A proactive, flexible “let’s get it done” attitude
