This stunning four-star hotel is centrally located within Hull, on Ferensway, minutes from the train station and St Stephens Shopping Centre. The hotel is opposite the Hull Truck Theatre and is a short stroll to the bustling downtown and marina area. We're looking for an enthusiastic and guest-focused Meeting & Events Assistant to join our team and help deliver memorable experiences for our guests and clients. This is a hands-on role where you'll support the delivery of meetings, conferences, events and special occasions, ensuring every event is delivered to the highest standards of service and hospitality. What You'll Be Doing
- Support the setup, delivery and breakdown of meetings, conferences, events and functions
- Deliver friendly, professional and attentive service to guests and clients
- Prepare event spaces to agreed specifications and standards
- Serve food and beverages during meetings and events
- Respond to guest and client requests promptly and professionally
- Maintain excellent standards of presentation, cleanliness and service throughout events
- Work closely with kitchen, sales and operational teams to ensure successful event delivery
- Assist with room turnarounds and event setup changes as required
- Follow health and safety, food safety and company procedures at all times
- Help create memorable experiences for guests attending events and functions
What We're Looking For
- Previous hospitality, food and beverage or events experience is desirable but not essential
- Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
