This stunning four-star hotel is centrally located within Hull, on Ferensway, minutes from the train station and St Stephens Shopping Centre. The hotel is opposite the Hull Truck Theatre and is a short stroll to the bustling downtown and marina area. Are you passionate about people, drinks and food? If the answer is yes, then this is the role for you! We are seeking a bubbly and friendly candidate who likes to be in a customer-facing position. You will ideally have worked within a hospitality setting previously and be familiar with the inner workings of a restaurant, however, this is not essential as training will be provided. What is essential though is a passion for hospitality! You will be hard-working, able to work alongside others as part of a team, and able to speak confidently to customers. You will also be willing to work a range of shifts, including daytime, evenings and weekends.
Day in the life of:
You will be working within the hotel\βs Restraunt alongside a passionate team who are eager to deliver an exceptional experience for our guests. You will work a range of shifts including daytime, evenings and weekends. You\βll be working in a front-of-house position meeting and greeting guests and providing great table service. You\βll be a great team player working closely with your kitchen and bar colleagues to ensure a smooth service.
- Preparing the bar for the day and night ahead including setting up, prepping, stocking and cleaning.
- Meeting and greeting guests. Making recommendations and engaging in conversation.
- Taking food and drink orders and processing them through a till. Cash and card transactions.
- Proving table service.
- Sales driven, keen to up-sell and cross-sell.
- Coaching and supporting new team members.
- Supporting other hotel colleagues and helping out in other areas of the hotel when it\βs needed.
