The Person

• Strong leadership and people management skills
• A true passion for Health and Fitness
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to perform under pressure and multi-task
• A solid understanding of health and safety regulations
• Proven experience as a Fitness Manager or a similar role
• REPS Level 3 Qualified
• Experience of managing a group exercise schedule
• Ability to teach a number of different classes
• Strong Personal Training experience

The Role

• Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring all customers queries are dealt with in an efficient manner
• Ability to recruit, develop and lead a strong team within Fitness team
• Manage the daily operations and contribute to the smooth running of the gym floor
• Monitor and ensure compliance achieved for Health and Safety standards
• Overseeing the financial performance of the fitness department by managing budgets and controlling costs effectively
• Provide manager presence throughout the whole health club, particularly in the absence of club manager
• Ensure the group exercise timetable is kept up to date with new trends
