Responsibilities

  • Manage operations of all food and beverage outlets to deliver an excellent guest and member experience
  • Maintain exceptional levels of customer service and ensure compliance with brand standards
  • Recruit, train and develop the food and beverage team; carry out annual and mid‑year appraisals
  • Handle guest queries promptly and efficiently
  • Work within budgetary guidelines for food, liquor costs and payroll; set departmental targets and objectives
  • Develop menus with the team, manage stock takes and incentivise team members to maximise sales and revenue
  • Conduct and record communication meetings; ensure meeting minutes are generated
  • Promote environmental awareness and uphold health and safety and hotel security regulations
  • Support other departments and maintain good working relationships across the hotel

Qualifications

  • Passionate, willing to learn, positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Friendly, caring and enjoys working in a team environment
  • Ability to develop team members and self; Ambitious and hardworking
  • Capability to work under pressure, including mornings, afternoons/evenings and weekends
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest service consistently
  • Excellent grooming standards and professional appearance
  • Experience in food and beverage management and a proven track record in hospitality
