The PR & Social Media Assistant is a full-time role based in London (2-3 days a week in the office in Shoreditch). In this position, you will support the planning and execution of PR campaigns, including:

  • Drafting press materials
  • Researching press & influencers
  • Maintaining media lists
  • Assisting with social media content creation
  • Scheduling posts
  • Monitoring channels
  • Engaging with online communities across key platforms
  • Tracking media coverage and social performance
  • Preparing reports
  • Helping to organise events, press activations and influencer collaborations

You will report into a Manager and work with the wider team to ensure consistent messaging, timely project delivery and high-quality client service.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with internal teams, clients, media and online communities.
  • Experience or demonstrable interest in social media including familiarity with major platforms and an interest in social media trends.
  • Ability in social media content creation from drafting captions to sourcing or briefing visual assets that align with brand voice.
  • Solid writing skills for press releases, pitches, social copy and short-form content tailored to press creators and clients.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with common office and collaboration tools; familiarity with social media management or monitoring platforms is an advantage.
