What does the job role involve?
- Site visits and surveys
- Identifying clients’ needs
- Carrying out designs using AutoCAD and Revit
- Producing supporting calculations and conducting structural analysis
- Reading and referencing complete structural drawings
- Client liaison both face to face and in writing/by phone as necessary
What you will need
- Scaffolding experience within the construction industry
- Willingness to learn new things, and not afraid to ask questions
- High attention to detail
- Have a friendly, collaborative outlook, which will be invaluable in establishing and building client relationships
- Experience using AutoCAD is advantageous, but training can be given for the right candidate
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Be able to demonstrate technical knowledge of complex scaffolds
- A basic grasp of engineering drawing and principles would be advantageous, but training can be given for the right candidate
- Skilled at communicating effectively with clients on the telephone and face to face
