Omni Fireproofing is looking to expand its team with spray foam installers. Starting at $25/hour or more depending on experience. Must join union within 7 days of hire.

LOCATION - no home base, you go where the jobs are - requires travel around the Columbus, Cincinnati, and Dayton areas. Candidates must have reliable transportation! No background check required. Must pass drug screen. Must be authorized to work in the US. Omni participates in E-Verify. Must have high school diploma or GED.

Job Summary

As a spray foam installer, you use specialized equipment to install fire-proofing foam insulation in walls. Your duties include using a hose and compressor to spray insulation between walls and building exteriors. You can also work in attics, ceilings, and other hard-to-reach areas.

Responsibilities

  • Reads and interprets blueprints
  • Assists supervisors with planning, layout, and installation
  • Responsible for the timely and smooth coordination of installing spray foam insulation in buildings to the required specifications
  • Operates tools, machines, and other equipment
  • Complies with local building codes, and health and safety regulations
  • Provides excellent customer service
  • Stands for prolonged periods, climbs, pulls, and lifts heavy objects
  • Completes other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

  • Acquires and brings personal hand tools (Power and specialty tools will be provided)
  • Bend, reach, twist, grab, lift up to 80 lbs
  • Positive, team first attitude
  • Good work ethic
  • Willingness to work in a dirty environment
  • Willingness to work in extreme climates (outside)
