We’re looking for a Senior Programmer (C++) to join our award-winning team in Middlesbrough (UK), home to the beautiful North Yorkshire coastline and countryside. As a Senior Programmer (C++/Proprietary Engine) at Double Eleven, you’ll harness your C++ expertise on proprietary engines to deliver high-quality game features and systems. You’ll work alongside industry-leading developers responsible for some of the most iconic and critically acclaimed titles, contributing to the creation of core systems, performance optimization, bug-fixing and maintaining exceptional code standards. - Design, develop, write, test and implement systems and game code
- Test and refine game-play features and systems throughout development
- Estimate tasks and deliver high quality code to schedule
- Perform code reviews with the development team to ensure code quality
- Help develop technical design specifications
- Work with designers, artists and publishing as required to create the highest possible quality titles
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of C++, Visual Studio
- Significant experience in the games industry
- Writes clear, debuggable, maintainable and performance targeted code
- Experience with multi-threaded programming
- Experience with low level optimisation, shader programming, physics or mathematics
